Very Good

We liked that the hotel is in the heart of city and Karnak temple , Nile are close by. The hotel is situated in the midst of hustle bustle which we wanted to experience. The hotel host Abdullah and his dad are very friendly , helpful and also changed our room to have a city view instead of swimming pool view. We had booked also West Bank/East bank tour with them and also Felucca sailing to banana island . All the tours were very nice and enjoyable .

The only downside was that the room was a bit cold since it was winter time when we stayed. But Abdullah helped us by providing extra blankets and also that made our stay warm.

Good but too pushy

It was OK, we received a nice welcome and the last day we had the chance to stay in the lobby until the time for our train was close at night.

People in Egypt are kind, though they are really pushy, the staff members, at check out, forced us to write a review and give them 5 stars, they even took the cellphones from us to do it themselves. Luckily, the review wasn't available at the moment at Booking. They also were too pushy trying to sell us many tours and a balloon trip.

Good location

Very slow (almost not working) wifi. Rooms are t cleaned daily. Said they will pick me up for free but when I arrived, I waited half an hour before they agree to pick me up and then charged me for it. Booked 2 nights but stayed only one.

This place very old and dirty, the pictures do not express the reality, also it's very expensive and as a very important note if you make the reservation from booking you will pay around 20 $ that around 350 Egyptian pound and if you make the reservation from the hotel directly you will pay around 150 Egyptian pound only :), The first and last time I visited this dirty place really it's overpriced by all means

Should’ve been nicer for the accomodation price and manager hassle you for tours

It was around 38 degrees in July so hot but lucky we had a pool and air conditioning in the room.

As tourism is low in Luxor at the moment, the second we arrive late at night to the hotel, the owner /manager hasseled us to book a tour with him to go to the West Bank and we had to tell him in 1 hour to book for the next day. We didn’t even get to put down our bags then the next day he asked us again. We found other tours a little cheaper but we had time to look the following day. You can organise tours from the westbank to go to valley of the kings and other sites and also get the local ferry over to the westbank. The manager wasn’t helpful at all. No tourist information given or maps just selling tours to us. Room wasn’t as clean and had to ask for towels and toilet paper even though we booked in advance. Bathroom could’ve been cleaner and small mini towels no floor mat. Water hot and cold. No atmosphere or many guests. Whole of Luxor you got hasseled for tours and taxis. For the price the hotel room should’ve been nicer and with the amenities. we found new Everest hostel helped us with a tour, breakfast and free wifi and rest in a room Without booking accomodation. We did in the end book one night because we flew out late in the evening before our flight.

We just booked a room to spend a couple of hours between the Nile Cruise check out and our flight.

Price. Friendly staff.

It might worth to spend a little bit more and find a proper hotel. The swimming pool was not clean, so we didn't allow our kids to use it. The room was bad, although it was clean. The wi-fi in the room was not working properly, so we spent a lot of time on the reception where the wi-fi was acceptable (for Egypt standard).

It's good hotel

There are so many things about this hotel. Very first it's location. It's located at the very good street where shops and restaurants are open till 3am. Which was the best in whole egypt.Very near to train station Nile river.. The staff was very helpful. Breakfast was also amazing.. The Manager Mr.Ali was very helpful, supportive.He helped us in all way. Hassan who was d shef of the hotel was very good. The day when I told him and Indian taste, he tried his best to serve us the breakfast. In hotel there are good option for dinner and lunch also. I refer ever1 to stay at this hotel. Worth to stay.
